Is anybody out there using checks or address labels with Bible verses, Jesus images, family values themes or pro-life messages? Did you buy them from LifeChecks, The Check Gallery or 4Checks.com?

If so, then you need to click here to read the truth about Life Checks' Pro-life checks! (After reading this page, be sure to post your comments below!)

PS help get the word out to other pro-lifers and pro-life groups by posting links to that page whenever you can.

I am extremely upset by this news...I've been buying these checks for years.  Is there a way we can organize and cancel our orders all at once for more impact?  Does anyone know of a TRUSTWORTHY check company that we can now turn our business over to?

I get my checkd from artistic checks with bible verses.
And pro-life stickers from Heritage House.

I think the home page has the article about this and there's a way to check on their refund policy.

Don't worry about "more" impact. In this case "enought" impact will be more than sufficient.

And, if the 100% satisfaction guarantee is taken advantage of (i.e. the products are returned for a full refund) by every pro-lifer that ownes pro-life check, scriptures checks, pro-life & christian address lables, "fish" checkbook covers, crosses or any of the other christian/pro-family/pro-life products that are sold by either LifeChecks or The Check Gallery or 4Checks.com or any other Custom Direct subsidary, THAT would be "enough" of an impact.

Even though it didn't happen "all at once", if this was done by only two, three, five or ten customers a day over the next several months, the impact would be "enough".

I just saw the life dynamics report about this on the DVD. Is there a substitute place to get checks?

Like sarah and hereforareason ask, "Is there an acceptable alternative"?

I've posted that I get my checks from Artistic Checks, I don't believe they are affilated with Life Checks.

I also get Pro-life stickers and other pro-life merchandise from Heritage House, again this is not affilated with Life Checks.

So, those two companies should be okay.

If someone knows they are not, please inform me. Thanks.

Wrong! You should have visited http://ProlifeAmerica.com/LifeChecks and clicked on the link for the parent company, Custom Direct.

If you did, then you would have found out that the same company also owns Artistic checks - click here to see for yourself..

Again this dirty-dog firm claims to give over half-a-million dollars a year to pro-abortion, pro-homosexual and other radical left-wing groups through its other subsidary, Message Products - click for details.

Thanks Whosays....wow, that makes me sick. I won't be getting anymore from them to say the least.
Do you happen to know if there are any places we can order checks from without fear they are donating to pro-abort org.'s?

I'm glad Heritage House is a purley pro-life org...at least the pro-life stickers we put on our correspondence is pure.

Unfortunatley, they don't sell checks.

Sorry, I don't. Heritage House hasn't yet decided to offer pro-life checks and address labels life the ones that LifeChecks sells. As far as any other company, you'll have to do the legwork to check them out - and be sure to ask about who - if anybody - they use to print their checks. Many times, such firms will come up with designs and market them, but then they will subcontract out the actual production of the product to Custom Direct or other firms, which still means that they are making money off of you.

Here's the challenge:

Is it better to use use plain checks printed by a company that doesn't give a half-million dollars a year to help support pro-abortion, pro-homosexual and anti-Christian organizations? (You could take the money you save by purchasing plain checks and donate it to a pro-life group, you know!)

-OR-

Is it better to purchase checks with scripture verses, Jesus pictures and pro-life slogans from a company that gives a half-million dollars a year to help organizations like the ACLU, Planned Parenthood and HRC promote baby killing and homosexual marriage?

LifeChecks,
The Check Gallery,
Image checks,
Artistic checks,
Message checks,
Styles,
Identity Checks,
Classic Checks,
Unique Products,
4checks.com
and
Check Crafters (prints business checks)
are ALL owned by The Custom Direct Income Fund a Canadian owned company!
They even do the printing of personal checks for BJ's Wholesale Club if I am not mistaken.

See
http://WWW.CDI-US.COM
http://www.cdi-us.com/products.asp
and http://www.cdifund.com/
for more details.

A friend of mine knows people that work for this company. Please pray for them. She tells me that this is only the surface.

Even if you only have a few checks left from one of these companies you can still get a refund. Tell them that you do not want to support a business that does this. Your money is being used to support these organizations while the company tries to profess to be PRO-LIFE. When it comes to who prints your checks why not be pro choice when it comes to deciding who will get your business. Choose a company that does not claim to be on one side while secretly supporting the other side. You cannot play on both sides at the same time! You cannot serve two masters.

Get the word out. Get your refund. Check out some of the other companies that are not connected with CUSTOM DIRECT. There are plenty of them out there. Pick up the phone and call them. Ask if they are part of CUSTOM DIRECT. Or call CUSTOM DIRECT and ask them how they think that they can get away with this. Let your friends know. Let everyone know!

Shed some light on what these people are doing in the darkness. Call them and tell them what you think. Here is a link to a list of their executives:

http://www.cdifund.com/management.html

and here are some more complete with pictures,

http://www.cdi-us.com/team.asp

Call them, write them, Email them... Here are some phone numbers, addresses and email addresses: http://www.cdi-us.com/contact.asp .
Let them know. Maybe they will change there minds and hearts and will do what is right. Please pray for these people. They need some serious help. Pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth.

YOU can still get a refund if you purchased checks from any of these companies! Call them and tell them how you feel and that you demand your money back. They do have a 100% Money back policy! Tell them that you would never have done business with them if you had known any of this before you placed your order!!

Be sure to tell them that you want taken off of any mailing lists to which they may have sold your name, address, phone number and email address. You wouldn't want to get invited to join one of those organizations would you?

My wife and I did some research and found an alternate company: Promise Checks. They seem to be a small company located in Chicago, family owned. We checked into the Better Business Bureau listings for them, and found nothing suspicious.

We just got our first check order. It arrived in just a few days. The checks are perfectly printed, and can have a custom message placed above the signature area. And it was less than $10 for the box. They only have one pro-life check, but they have many other good designs too.

If someone finds out anything bad about this company, please post it here, so we can know to ask for a refund.

Thanks!

Hello Pro-Lifers,

My name is George Johnson.

In 1985 my wife and I created the first checks with the pro-life images. We traveled to many conferences around the country, and I became known as "the pro-life check guy".
Marlys, my wife was a part time CPC counseller for nearly 5 years. We were faithful to the cause, and many pro-life leaders were at Marlys' funeral in August of 2002. Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life spoke at her funeral, and refered to me as the "pro life check guy" in his comments.

When Marlys' cancer returned in the spring of '99, Check Gallery gave me a fair offer for our company which we had named Life Checks. It took me less that two minutes to say yes. Marlys had supported me all those years, and it was time to take care of her, which was an honor.

Then Life Dynamice uncovered what was going on at Life Checks and Check Gallery, friends started phoning and e-mailing. It seemed that God was opening the door for me to get back into check printing. In fact after He opened the door, He seemed to push me thru it.

I am in the process of re-creating the sanctity of life designs which you all remember so well.
It will take a few months for me (and the Man upstairs) to get that done, and then I will be back in business.

If you are almost out of checks right now, I can vouch for Promise Checks, and they have one Life design. Perhaps it will do until I am up and running.

If any of you will be at the National Right to Life Conference the middle of June, please stop by my booth, or the Priests for life booth. (I think we will be adjacent to each other.) I will be known as "Life Consulting Services, Inc.", a name I registered so I could continue with my Pro-Life activities.

Please write to me at gvj@afo.net and I will let you know when I am up and running. Perhaps you can even help with the selection of the designs.

In Christ,
George Johnson
"the Pro-Life Check Guy"

Dear George Johnson,

I saw your email on the site exposing Life Checks for the arrogant phonies they are. I want to encourage you to restart your Pro-life check business. Please contact me when your checks will be available.

I have been purchasing Life Checks for years. Do you think they will refund all the checks I purchased?

Thanks,
Mary Ho

Life Checks should refund your money. Tell them why you want a refund and remind them of THEIR money back policy.

I friend of mine was recently fired from working there because he questioned some of their business practices.

The company is a member of the BBB. If they refuse to refund your money remind them of their policy and tell them that you will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the Maryland Attorney General's office.

Please Please if any of you have any check from this company Please call them and tell them that you want a refund and tell them the reason why. If the representative that you speak to gives you any problems ask to speak to a lead, supervisor, manager or ask for John Browning by name. Mr. Browning is the CEO. His extension number is 2375.

I am told that the only thing these people understand is MONEY. Tell them what you think and ask for your money back. They guaranty 100% satisfaction. Make them live up to their promises.

If enough people ask for their money back then maybe they will get the idea that they cannot succeed in deceiving people like this.

Please see my earlier posting for a list of the other companies that also belong to the parent company that owns Life Checks. If you have purchased checks from any of these companies I would encourage you to ask for a refund as well. Tell them why you want the refund and tell them that you are upset with the way that they practice business.

If the insist on you returning your checks for a refund remind them that the inspection sheet in the first box of checks states that you should not return the checks. Tell them that you will take the unused check to your bank and you will have the back destroy them once you receive your refund and the check clears. Do not let them stop you from getting your money back.

IF you purchase checks from a company like this please ask them before you give them any information if they are connected in any way with Custom Direct.

Let the buyer beware!

Please pray for these people. May God open their eyes to what they are doing.

I tried to get a refund from lifechecks but they are denying me because my order was over 6 months ago. I threatened to call BBB and Maryland AG. No satisfaction.

Try contacting the postal inspectors re: mail fraud. LifeChecks sells & sends their checks throught the US Mail with an unqualified "satisfaction guaranteed" attached. If they refuse to honor a guarantee that they have extended through the mail, then they've comitted mail fraud.
