It has been pointed out that the Scott Roeder trial for killing an abortionist started on the anniversary of the scotus roe v Wade decision. Some take this as evidence that a Higher Power was indicating that the case was about more than was apparent and was actually about killing babies by abortion. Are there other indicators that give credence to this?
The killing of the abortionist took place in a Church on a Sunday morning. That is one of the few times that an abortuary is not open for business to kill babies.
People immediately after the killing pointed out how despicable it was that it took place in a Church. Comments were made about how a church was a place of peace, a sanctuary, a place of new birth by the Word of Truth, a holy place, a place of birth by the water of Baptism. These are all pictures of a Child in the womb, a place of peace, a holy place, a sanctuary, a place of new life and water. There are other parallels as well.
The killing did not actually take place in the sanctuary of the church. It took place in the foyer or entry and exit from the sanctuary. Since this abortionist was "renowned" as a late term killer that is where many of his executions took place, the foyer to the womb. The "procedures" that are used for late term abortions kill the baby in the birth canal (entry and exit). Coincidentally (or not) those procedures attack the child in the head or skull to bring about the death of the infant. The head is where the abortionist was shot. It was noted that he entered the sanctuary briefly before returning to the foyer where the killing took place. Could that be a picture of the abortions he performed?
During testimony Scott said the reason he killed him at Church is because that was the only time when the abortionist was not protected by security and "law enforcement." The only time babies are not secure and protected by law is when they are in an abortuary.
The entire event whether intentional or not is in direct correlation to the killings that the abortionist performed and exulted in. Scott did not exult. He thought it was his duty to protect the innocent who could not protect themselves. He did not celebrate the event but relayed his honest testimony with no cover or lies to try to protect himself. He considered himself on the side of righteousness and held nothing back. He followed his Leader Who also gave honest testimony knowing it would lead to a cross. He spoke the truth leaving it up to another Judge Who has the power to give condemned men life and raise them from the dead. His ultimate fate is in that Judge's hands. From the many parallels between killing babies by abortion and the killing of the abortionist it would appear that the true Judge has already spoken.

It seems blasphemous to compare the murder Roeder committed with the crucifixion of Christ. Just sayin'. I don't think Christ ever killed anybody, and I'm not sure He would have approved of the murder, the condoning of it in any way, or this comparison.
That being said, I think we can find this kind of creative "parallel" in lots of situations if we really want to see it. If you're looking for "signs" and such, you'll probably see them, but I think it might be unwise to make more of this than what's actually there. I mean, do you really think God made the court date when it was? Why would God manipulate such petty aspects of the situation? If he was going to "work His magic," and actually cared about the issue, why wouldn't He just end abortion? Or at least take Tiller out Himself, rather than have some nut do it for him? It doesn't make sense to me, the things people think God is responsible for...

The requirement from the covenant the Creator made with Noah after the flood for innocent bloodshed is in Genesis 9. Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed.
He has established justice and given man the responsibility to execute it. Our government allows and mandates murder. By convicting a man of murder for stopping murders our government condemns itself for not doing its duty and actually participating in the killing. Then the government brings further judgment on the people. The Creator is bringing judgment on this nation and states continuously. The short list is too long and should be obvious to some. If we refuse to recognize His working in the things that are taking place that is our fault. The marks are there for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear as His Word tells us.

I know I shouldn't have, but that made me laugh. A lot.

God is Love.
The question then becomes in all of life's circumstance, "what is the loving thing to do?"

Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed.
Then God went on to demand further bloodshed? And since Roeder "shed man's blood," man must shed his blood? And whoever sheds Roeder's blood must in turn have his blood shed, and so on?
Jesus was a Jew, but held much of Judaism to be kind of a perversion of God's word. Christianity is essentially a type of "reformed" Judaism. What did Christ say about "bloodshed?" Did He seem to adhere to all the "eye for an eye," stoning, and such as that? I seem to recall more about love, forgiveness, and "turning the other cheek" in the New Testament.

Do you really believe that God punishes the innocent along with the guilty in "passing judgment?" You believe our entire nation is forced to pay for the "sins" of our government or whatever? I've heard people say earthquakes in Cali are part of such a "judgment," but I never got how they could think God causes children (and other innocents) to suffer in this way.
If God was really actively involved in our affairs in this way, I would think He would be more just than that. Surely He has the wisdom to see what a mere mortal can see, as well as the power to exact a truly righteous judgment, condemnation, and vengeance on the evildoers without causing the innocent to suffer as well, wouldn't you think?
I think we must be careful about what we attribute to our maker as deliberate acts.

We bring His judgment on ourselves by continuing in wickedness. We have killed over 50 million people by abortion so far in the u.s. By allowing innocent people to be executed we deny His existence, His Authority, His law and His Son, Who is also an innocent Person that man executed. He gave His Son to us and allowed us to execute Him to make a way of Salvation for everyone. He is merciful and just. He is longsuffering and would rather that we turn from our evil so that He does not have to destroy us eternally. We are unwilling and increase our rebellion constantly as we inflict pain and suffering on the world and steal their resources from them. Even if you live out your days here in relative comfort it is not worth eternal destruction. His promise is eternal life to those who obey Him. The wicked He will destroy.

Jesus said that He came not to judge the world but to save it. He will come back to judge the world, but right now we are living in the age of grace. Natural events are simplly that.

What the hell ever happened to love thy enemy? What ever happened to judge not lest ye be judged? These bloody idiots are stuck in the old testiment, you know? Back when you had to sacrifice a small farm to atone for sin? Scott Roeder was a murderer, Tiller was a murderer, ones as good as the other in God's eyes and they will probably be roasting one behind the other on the same spit in hell.

I believe that there was only one man free from committing sin... Jesus Christ. Now that we have that settled, we can go about the business of deciding which sins we can live with, and which sins we cannot. Speaking of the New Testament, Jesus said: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot. So then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth!
